i am turned on with a big hand of poetry and a slightly smaller hand of music. when these powers combine i am captain skirt, flitting about the world on a broomstick and wasting too much time on a portable computer. my hands are inspector gadget's, but instead of can openers and a pen knife my fingers are made of pilot v5 pens and i write and write in an ink that looks like black icecream. my legs are full of pants and my nose needs to be blown. i was born in the land of beer and cheese and pilgrimaged to maine for college. in my british texts class there is a large map of the Entire World on one wall, and i look at it and daydream of infatuations. ive realized that i have covered about one inch of the several meters that make up earth, and this small fact will worry me if i dont do something about it. but for now i am content in the foothills. it rains a lot which gives me opportunities to wear my green slicker. the trees are falling off into lawns and compost and tiny bridges over the pond.
